As the Construction Manager of Life Storage, I write this letter in recommendation of TPD Construction as a general contractor. I thoroughly enjoyed working with TPD Construction on our new facility in Saco, ME. This project involved building a 3-story, 44,000-gsf climate-controlled storage building along with other site improvements.
From the beginning of the project, TPD Construction took on a very proactive approach. Due to ground conditions, this project was dependent on being constructed on a pre-loaded site. They successfully provided the needed resources to perform the preloading and achieve the required results 4 weeks ahead of the projected schedule. The onsite staff was always respectful and willing to adapt to the needs of the project and to the current staff onsite while the existing facilities operations continued.
I particularly want to highlight the outstanding job done by their Project Manager. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kevin Coons on this project. Throughout the course of construction, Mr. Coons was a consummate professional.
He kept me up-to-date on all of the work being performed as well as what was coming next. From the outset, he laid out a specific plan for this project and got the job done right and on time.
Life Storage could not be happier with the work they did. I can recommend Kevin and TPD Construction highly and without reservation. We would like to extend our sincere recommendation for them on any future construction projects and also express our desire to work with Kevin and TPD Construction again as they were a true ally to bring this project through completion of construction. This project was a success because of TPD Construction.
