Working for the Federal Government, this project was to demolish and reconstruct the USDA Forest Service’s administration government building and garage/laboratory at the Massabesic Experimental Forest in Lyman, ME. The attractive standing seam metal roof system seen here on the government building is also among the most durable and low-maintenance roofs available.

Because TPD is a trained and authorized NCI roof systems installer, we’re able to offer standing seam roof systems with 20-year weather tightness warranties. As part of this project TPD also took care of abandoning an existing dug well and installing a drilled well; new septic system; and relocated the power lines underground to prevent outages affecting ongoing research. Working with the USDA required TPD to meet strict Federal reporting, purchasing, testing and construction guidelines.
