Sanford, ME
The Sanford Maine Sewerage District hired TPD to build their new compost facility, which is one of only 300 of its kind in all of North America. The uniqueness of this 17,100 square foot pre-engineered metal building is the ability for the facility to produce ‘Class A’ compost. The compost is available for pick up to the residents of the City of Sanford free of charge for personal use. Farms and businesses can have access to the compost too for a small charge per cubic feet.
