Acton, ME
The Town of Acton chose TPD Construction to design and build a replacement to their aging road sand/salt storage facility. Having previously completed a similar project for the nearby Town of Shapleigh, TPD constructed a similar structure for the Acton salt shed, an arch-truss style building with steel panel siding.
The new facility, which was completed in time for the 2015-2016 winter season, will increase available storage capacity for sand and salt and provide more inside working space for equipment to move and process the material. This cost-effective and low maintenance design will provide weather-tight storage and serve the Acton’s needs for many years to come.
