[Saco, Maine – August 13, 2019]
We are proud to announce that Hancock Lumber has brought on commercial builder TPD Construction Co. for their 11th brand new location on Route One in Saco, Maine.
As the first new lumberyard project in 15 years, this production is considered a groundbreaking event and is being celebrated by the company and city officials alike. Once completed, the new facility is expected to employ a staff of about 30 people, which will provide an opportunity to form relationships with those within the Saco community.
“An organization’s true value is not defined by revenue growth or profitability,” he said. “Those are important metrics for our business, but they are outcomes of a higher purpose. The real mission is to enhance the lives of the people who work here,” says owner Kevin Hancock.
The brand new facility, slated to open Spring 2020, will include a 30,000-square-foot Kitchen & Design Showroom and retail area as well as a 30,000-square-foot lumber yard. From the TPD Construction team, Greg Dumont is Project Superintendent and Kevin Coons is Project Manager for this building project.
