TPD Construction Co. oversaw the construction of an 8,800-foot addition to the automotive technology training center at Manchester Community College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
To help the college meet the increased demand for the automotive technology training program, this project added four large, laboratory-style college building classrooms; additional faculty office and storage space; and included some renovations to the existing building. In order to minimize the impact that construction would have on students, much of the work was concentrated in the summer months and was completed on an accelerated schedule in order to accommodate the college’s need to have space be operational in time for the Fall term.
Among the features of the addition are radiant heat flooring and a built-in exhaust ventilation system for each classroom in the college building.
